Marketing Materials
All materials created for the church adhere to the First Pres brand guidelines. These guidelines were in place when I started, but I've since expanded upon them to develop a visual language that is easily understood and familiar to church members. These guidelines apply to all materials, including business cards, posters, flyers, emails, and brochures.
Welcome Flyer
Event Brochure
Weekly Newsletter
Specific large-scale events, like the Missions Conference pictured above, receive their own guidelines that differentiate the event while still maintaining elements of the existing First Pres brand.
Apparel Design
Various ministries at First Presbyterian Church go on annual retreats or trips and request shirts to help delineate their groups. These are typically themed to the location or season. This is one aspect of my job where I get to utilize my illustration background to create fun and eye-catching designs.
Logo Design
Much of the imagery for various ministries at FPC was outdated and didn't reflect their content appropriately. I approached each project with the goal of honoring their history while bringing the logos into the present day. While not all the ministries are as old as the church (200+ years), they still share roots with it.
Event Promotion
Event promotion at First Pres encompasses a broad age range. One day, I'm designing for the entire congregation of over 2,000, while others focus on children or women. Consequently, no two projects are alike.
